October 18, 2008: Fall Service Project- Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Dallas Affiliate. Volunteered from 5:30am-8am in Dallas with registration with an invitation from UNT MPA Alumna Kathy Harvel, Komen Registration Chair. Participants: 9.
November 13, 2008: Meeting and reception with Richard Zavala (Police Academy Manager), Ellen Yost (Environment Specialist), Molly McFadden (Emergency Preparedness Manager) from the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Attendance: 40.
