Scholarship Information

The UNT CDER Program has two scholarship opportunities available to students funded through the US Department of Education's Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA):

CSPD Long-Term Training Grant

Students who apply for this grant must be currently employed by a state vocational rehabilitation agency as a VR Counselor. The grant covers all tuition and fees for students while taking courses in the program. Students must agree to 3 months of service to a qualified agency* for each 3 hour course that is paid for by the grant once the degree is completed.

CRP/Disability Long-Term Training Grant

Students who apply for this grant must be currently employed by a Community Rehabilitation Program or have a disability that prevents them from attending an on-campus master's program in Rehabilitation Counseling. The grant covers all tuition and fees for students while taking courses in the program. Students must agree to 3 months of service in a qualified agency* for each 3 hour course covered by the grant once the degree is completed.
