Admission Requirement
Master's Degree Admission
Students interested in applying to master's degree program (offered only on UNT campus in Denton) must apply to the UNT Graduate School and to the department. Application deadline is January 15 for Fall admission. There is no Spring admission. Applications are reviewed beginning January 15 for the limited number of slots in the graduate program. A supplemental review will be conducted in April if there are any remaining slots not filled on the first round.

Note: Students in states belonging to the Academic Common Market should contact Ms. Standifer about applying for in-state tuition.
Admission Requirements
* Prerequisite of 2 behavior analysis courses. These may be taken at UNT (see undergraduate course descriptions) or by enrolling in a distance learning course (contact the Distance Learning department at 940-565-2561 for more information).
* A strong commitment to a career in behavior analysis.
* Recommended: GPA of 3.4.
* GRE scores acceptable to UNT Graduate school.
* 2 Letters of reference (no special form required) from employers/professors/people with whom you have worked.
* A statement of your interests in behavior analysis.
Distant Program -- Non-Degreed
The Department, through our internet courses, offers a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. Students in the internet program DO NOT receive a Master's Degree. The program is a post Bachelor's or post Master's series of courses that fulfill specific academic requirements toward certification by the BACB.
