Hints For Effective Searching:
- Searching for more than one word automatically inserts an AND between the terms. If you would like to search the terms as a phrase, enclose the terms in double quotation marks: "Like this."
- Common words and characters such as where, the, how, and other digits and letters are normally ignored. If a common word is essential to getting the results you want, you can include it by putting a "+" sign in front of it.
- If a word has multiple meanings you can exclude un-related quries by inserting a minus sign attached to problematic terms, ex: bass -fish. This example will not return pages about fish but will return pages about bass guitars.
- If you want to search not only for your search term but also for its synonyms, place the tilde sign ("~") immediately in front of your search term.
- To find pages that include either of two search terms, add an uppercase OR between the term.
