The BAAS degree program is appealing to both new and existing students. Students who are already enrolled at UNT should schedule an appointment with an advisor by calling (940) 565-4115 or sending an email to BAAS@unt.edu. Transfer students should take the following steps:

1 Visit our campus.

The best way to explore UNT is to take a student-guided tour. Offered several times daily and on Saturdays, tours can be reserved online at www.unt.edu/tour or by calling (940) 565-4104.

2. Complete the admission's process.

The fastest, most efficient way to apply for admission to UNT is to fill out the Apply Texas Application online at www.applytexas.org. Information on UNT admission requirements, fees and deadlines for admission is available at http://www.unt.edu/admissions.htm

When completing your application, it is important to list Applied Arts and Sciences as your major field of study.
By doing so, UNT's admission office will consider all of the credits on your transcript-including the technical and professional credits that other degree programs often do not accept. It is important for UNT to consider as many of your credits as possible because they impact your classification, GPA and your ability to qualify for transfer scholarships. Information on transfer scholarship and other forms of financial aid is available at http://essc.unt.edu/finaid/scholarships_transfer.htm.

3. Schedule a UNT orientation session.

New UNT students are required to attend an orientation session during which they choose the courses they will

take their first semester, learn about UNT'`s online registration system, and meet individually with an advisor to discuss their degree plan. Students should bring their transcript(s) to the orientation session and their UNT admission packet. 4. Schedule a follow-up advising appointment to finalize your Applied Arts & Sciences degree plan.
