The BAAS degree program combines workforce, technical, or applied specialized coursework with general
  education courses for a degree individually oriented to the student's career goals. Previous coursework can often
  be counted toward the hours needed for completion of the degree.

    • A minimum total of 120 hours of course credits.

    • A minimum of 30 hours must be taken from UNT-up to 90 hours may be transferred from other approved
       institutions.

    • A minimum of 42 hours must be advanced level (from courses with a 3000 or 4000 prefix) and at least 24 hours
       of these must be taken from UNT.

  The BAAS degree is comprised of five basic components:

   • University Core

   • Professional Foundations

   • Professional Development

   • Occupational Specialization

   • Electives
