General Prospective Student Information
Admissions
Visit the Admissions website to view admissions requirements, deadlines, and to apply online for admission to UNT. A Transfer Hotline is also available to answer questions about transferring to UNT.
Orientation
All new transfer and freshman students are required to attend orientation. At orientation, students attend an in depth presentation regarding College of Public Affairs and Community Service degree requirements and policies. Then, Academic Advisors will be available to assist with scheduling courses. Visit the New Student and Mentoring Office website for information about signing up for an orientation session.
Transfer Coursework
If you are transferring to UNT from another institution you can use either the U.Select or Transfer Articulation website, to determine how your courses transfer to UNT. The Transfer Articulation website allows students to compare the academic core courses at another Texas state institution with the academic core courses at UNT. CAS allows students to enter their coursework from institutions across the United States and view a planning guide of how their coursework will transfer into their intended major.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
